The school not only meets the educational needs of Army personnel, but also considers students from all over India and abroad. The school admits boys and girls between the age of 5 and 16, irrespective of the rank, creed or socio-economic status of their parents. Admission to a class is based on the child's performance in the entrance examination. Civilian children are admitted on the basis of 'Role-Model' concept.
